I brought my vehicle to them in the morning for service that was going to take 4 to 5 hours and was planning on waiting for it as I had no ride lined up. My 2022 Buick Encore would not start when I went to lunch on a very cold Monday afternoon. I called Ally for roadside assistance and they were able to get my car jumpstarted. I had also called the service department at Minnesota Motors and they penciled me in for a battery check as soon as I could get my car started. There were many other customers ahead of me, but I was comfortable in the waiting area with complimentary donuts and Diet Coke, and I was able to work remotely until my battery was replaced at no charge courtesy of my bumper-to-bumper warranty. Henry Martin, the service manager, was absolutely the best to work with.

I made an appointment telling them my shifter needed replacement and described what it was doing. Rather than order the part, they made an appointment and then told me after that appointment they needed to order the part and I would need to make another appointment. I made the appointment when they told me the part was in. At that appointment they told me it would take an hour and a half so I decided to wait. 2 hours later they told me they could not get my shifter out and they weren’t sure how long it would take. They gave me very old rusted out impala to drive to do a few errands and when I returned they were still not sure how much longer it would be. I called my husband and he had to drive from Battle Lake to pick me up since they told him they didn’t know if they would be able to get it done that day. Two hours later ( after we were home), they called to say it was ready to go. So we had to come back into Fergus Falls again to pick it up. So disappointed in the service I received. This was a known issue with Chevy and Buick vehicles so I would’ve expected them to know how to fix it and not treat me like I was a stupid woman. It took my husband to get answers and some action. I have been a loyal customer of Chevys and Buicks over the last 30 years buying all but one of my vehicles from Minnesota Motors. Maybe it’s time to try a different dealership.

Oil change and tire rotation went very smoothly and very quickly. Had question for the Tech there about an issue with my instrumentation lights dimming and then coming back to normal. He referred me to the main service shop for that. I spoke with Beau at the main service shop and he advised that he was not aware of this type of issue and recommended I make an appointment to have it looked at. Will try to do this in the near future.

Blake was very nice. He was willing to answer questions and tried to do his best for me. I didn’t feel I was given what my car was worth. Whoever “test drove” it, didn’t know how to measure the tread on my tires. According to the business manager, they were at 4/32. After she told me that, I took it to a place I have been going to for 20 years for any kind of work on my car. He told me 5 1/2 to 5. I was told a it probably needs new tires about 3 time, which was a “reason” for not giving me more for the car I was trading in. I wasn’t happy that I could use only $1500 of my $1900 GM card points. According to the business manager, that amount is set by the card company. I then questioned why someone I know was able to use $10,000 dollars in GM points. I was told that at the time, that vehicle was purchased, the card company had an “ unlimited use of points” promotion. I guess I will have to look at things more carefully the next time I purchase a vehicle.

I took my Malibu to Minnesota Motors for and oil change. As always, I was greeted by the techs who then proceeded to ask what I wanted done for the day. They were very professional and skilled in doing their jobs. I imagine the whole process took perhaps 15 minutes. The car was also checked for any codes that may have shown up along with being vacuumed, tires checked, windows washed, etc. The waiting room was very nice and well kept with the staff behind the counter very friendly and professional. If one wanted, you could buy snacks from a couple of vending machines. Minnesota Motors is a great place to visit and get maintenance and service work done.

Had body work done and have had to take back because the hood had a bad spot and interior was filthy. They repainted the hood was told it would be done on Thursday I got there and they wanted to keep over night I said no I needed my own vehicle and I waited for 1/2 hour they said it was ready, got it home and noticed the hood had pimples all over it called them back and now I have to take it back again and not have my vehicle for another whole day

I brought my 2011 Camaro in to Minnesota Motors for some routine maintenance and also a small repair because it was starting slowly. Making an appointment was quick an easy with just a one day wait. I was greeted by the service advisor right away when I drove into the shop. We reviewed what needed doing and then I went in to the dealership to wait for my car. The jobs were done quickly and very professionally. I have always been impressed with Minnesota Motors and their service department as they are very professional and skilled in doing their jobs, not to mention friendly. I would recommend their services to anyone...it is "top rate"!!!

It was fantastic , I received an oil change and he recommended Virgin Olive oil because that was supposed to be good for my health so I figured it must be good for my car also. Then I asked him if I could have the used oil because I was planning on making donuts later and then I wouldn’t have to go to store and get more oil. Then I asked if they could rotate my tires and he said no need to because they rotate when I’m driving and that made sense to me. I received a free car wash code and since my car was dirty on the inside he recommended that I leave all the windows open so the inside would get washed also. At first it made no sense but after he smiled and he explained it I thought why not. This place is so good I will recommend it to everyone. I was wearing a bikini and I don’t know if that was why I got special service or not. And everyone was smiling and talking to me the whole time. Thank you very much and I will be back!

The service techs changed oil very quickly and were finished in 15 to 20 minutes. I asked about rotating the tires on my pickup and one tech mentioned all tires were wearing at the same level and decided rotation was not necessary at this time. All staff very friendly and courteous. I waited for my vehicle. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. Bottled water, pop as well as coffee was available for the customers, it is appreciated to have a variety of beverages to choose from. The sales person we work with is Matt Ness. When he sees I am in for service he greets me and makes time to talk, even if briefly. It is nice, you don’t feel like once the sale is made he does not care. Matt also makes himself available for questions not only during business hours. If Troy Kuehl notices me or any family members he always makes sure to take some time from his day to ask how the family and I are doing. When greeted by name by finance manager Nick Weaver I thought was noteworthy considering we only see him for a short amount of time during the sales process. All in all, a very welcoming family atmosphere.

Did a good job installing the 4 new tires and TPS sensors but charged me $60 to look for a oil leak under the vehicle while they already had it up on the hoist to do the tires, not happy with that. I had it in a week earlier for a oil change and they said to bring it back to take another look. Not very good customer service after spending $1,700 on tires/sensors.

Love my nice clean Buick interior - carpet, seats, dash, windows and doors! Cleaning product odor is pretty overwhelming, glad the weather was still warm enough to drive with windows open for a couple weeks. Carpet dried within a couple days, thank you for the suggestion to keep windows cracked while parked in garage. Service writer scheduled my appointment without checking to see if the tires to be put on my truck were actually in stock. Oil change and battery replacement were completed and I was then required to return a week later. This took up nearly 3 extra hours of my time and had to make an 80 round trip twice.

I liked especially how they check over the various systems of ones car and bring to your attention something that should be looked into. In my case it was a dirty air filter that needed replacing. I brought my 2019 Travers in for an oil change on January 8th in Fergus Falls at Minnesota Motors Express Lube. When I got in the car before leaving the building, I started the car and the check engine light came on. It was not on when I brought it in, so I asked the technician, he said that it happens sometimes and it was no big deal and his light has been on for 3 years. He didn't offer to find out what was wrong, so I went straight to the service department and told them what happened and they were very helpful. The Service tech came right out, put his reader on and found the issue, they had not plugged in a sensor. I gave the oil change experience a poor rating for not responding or checking on the issue I brough up. When I went to the service area, the tech was very helpful.

We got an estimate for one price, and it ended up being over 300 more than the price that was quoted. What is the point of having these estimates or quotes if you're not going to stick to them. I can understand $30.00 but $300 plus just isn't right especially when you been a customer for over 10 plus years. Very disappointing.
