1. Central Lakes Trail

With a total length of 55 miles, this paved bike path was established following an old railroad route that once connected ten small communities across three counties in the region.
Running through the heart of west-central Minnesota and ending in the town of Osakis, Central Lakes Trail goes through beautiful landmarks and nature reserves including Mavis Waterfowl Production Area, Delagoon Park, Pelican Lake, and Christina Lake. With few altitude changes and an easy terrain, this route can be completed even if you are not an expert biker.
2. Trails at Maplewood State Park

Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, this state park sits on the southern shores of Beaver Lake and features different paths that go along creeks, ponds, and small lakes.

3. Oak Creek Trail at Black Groves Park
Located about 50 miles east of downtown Fergus Falls, Black Groves Park is another excellent biking destination that can be reached in less than one hour by car via route MN-210. One of the main attractions of the place is the 3.5-mile multi-use trail that goes along the banks of Oak Creek and offers excellent views of the surrounding areas.
