5 Standout Features of the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer

The new 2021 Chevy Trailblazer is here, and it’s amazing. If you’re in the market for a new vehicle, the Chevy Trailblazer might be the perfect fit for you! It lives up to Chevy’s reputation for creating high-quality vehicles. The Trailblazer is beautiful, safe, and packed with smart, innovative features. Here are a few of our favorite features of the new Trailblazer.

1. A Spacious and Flexible Interior

With its spacious and flexible interior, you’ll be able to fit everything and anyone you need in your Trailblazer. It can seat up to five and has 40/60 split-folding seats in the second row. The second row and the passenger seat can also fold flat when needed. The Chevy Trailblazer has an impressive maximum cargo volume of 54.4 cubic feet and a maximum cargo length of 8.5 feet.

Your rear passengers will be comfortable with the best-in-class rear-seat legroom, and you’ll also be comfortable with 40.9 inches of front legroom, 40 inches of front headroom, and 55.4 inches of front shoulder room.

2. Forward Collision Alert and Automatic Emergency Braking

Forward Collision Alert and Automatic Emergency Braking come standard with the Trailblazer. You’ll receive a warning when your Trailblazer detects a potential front-end collision with the vehicle ahead of you, giving you enough time to take corrective action. If you’re following the vehicle ahead of you too closely, you’ll receive a tailgating alert.

The Trailblazer uses camera technology to automatically provide hard emergency braking, and it can even enhance your own hard braking.

3. Three Drive Modes

With three available drive modes to choose from, you’ll have all the traction you need to get to where you’re going. The Trailblazer comes with Normal mode, All-Wheel Drive mode (or Snow mode on FWD), and Sport mode.

4. Teen Driver Technology

Chevy knows how important promoting safe driving habits in new drivers is. With this built-in system, you can set speed alerts, limit the volume, and make sure your teen is buckled in. You’ll also receive an in-vehicle report that can tell you how far they drove, their maximum speed, how many Overspeed warnings they received, how many forward collision alerts they received, and how many times forward automatic braking was activated.

5. Front Pedestrian Braking

This standard Chevy Safety Assist feature will help you avoid or at least reduce the severity of any front-end collisions with pedestrians. Front Pedestrian Braking will give you pedestrian alerts when the system detects someone directly ahead of you. It can even enhance your hard braking or automatically provide hard emergency braking.
