Trim Levels of the 2022 Chevy Tahoe

In this day and age drivers expect a certain amount of flexibility with the trim levels of a new car, but rarely do vehicles deliver on that promise of flexibility the way the 2022 Chevy Tahoe does. Whether you’re looking for an off-road workhorse or a luxury SUV for getting around town, the 2022 Tahoe has got you covered. Here are a few of the features you can expect to get at each of the Tahoe’s trim levels!

Tahoe LS

The base trim of the Tahoe, the LS, serves as a great foundation to build upon, and a great trim in its own right. The LS has two choices of engine: the 5.3L V8 or the 3.0L turbo-diesel inline-6. Both come paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, a choice between FWD and 4WD drivetrains, and both deliver exceptional power to the Tahoe. An interesting optional feature for the Tahoe is the option to add bench seating in the front, which boosts its capacity to 9 people!

Tahoe LT

Taking a step up to the next trim brings all the benefits of the Tahoe LS, with plenty of perks. The LT comes with the 10.2-inch touchscreen which is standard on the LS, but adds the option to add a dual entertainment system in the back, too. The LT also comes with heated front seats, a wireless smartphone charging pad, an auto-dimming mirror, a power liftgate, and more. It’s a tempting touch of luxury added onto the solid LS base trim!

Tahoe RST

The RST takes everything you’d love about the LS and LT and puts them in a sporty package. Part of this is the styling: the RST comes in a sporty black exterior with 22-inch wheels. But it’s also about what’s inside, and that includes the option to take the RST with the 420-hp 6.2L V8 engine, a powertrain not available in the LS and LT.

Tahoe Z71

If the RST is the sporty one of the pack, the Z71 is the trim level fit for getting off the road and onto tough terrain. This trim includes underbody skid plates, upgraded heavy-duty suspension, all-terrain tires, and the option to include air suspension for a smoother ride, regardless of what the road throws at you. This trim level comes standard with 4-wheel drive, in anticipation of what Z71 drivers probably have in store for their SUV!

Tahoe Premier

The Tahoe Premier returns to a focus on comfort and luxury with its range of safety and tech features. The Premier comes complete with Chevy’s full “Driver Alert Package” suite of safety and driver assistance features. It also comes with a choice between any of the 3 powertrains listed above, and the option to go in on the “Texas Edition” cosmetic package.

Tahoe High Country

The cream of the crop as far as the Tahoe is concerned, the High Country trim is basically a luxury SUV. This trim level comes with magnetic ride control for some of the smoothest driving around. Inside you’ll find perforated leather seating, a head-up display, surround-view camera, and much more.

This is just a peek into everything on offer at each of the Tahoe’s trim levels, and we’d love to take you on a more in-depth tour of what else these trims come with. Come on down to Minnesota Motor Company today, and find the perfect version of the Tahoe for your driving needs!
